At the time the world was celebrating the day of love, Radiohead just take the moment in the morning February 14 to announce their latest album release on Saturday 19 February. A big surprise of course eagerly awaited by their fans around the world.

8th studio album they titled “The King of Limbs”, the announcement was first released on their web pages, www.radiohead.com. A sentence “Thank You for Waiting” appears on the main page of their official website and if at the click of going to direct us to the site www.thekingoflimbs.com. This album can be downloaded starting on Saturday February 19, 2011, while the physical form will be out around the beginning of May this year.

The site, thekingoflimbs.com is pre-sale of their new album which is divided into two options, namely ordering “Newspaper Album” or “Digital only”. For the category “Newspaper Album” prized at 30 pounds, can be downloaded on Saturday, February 19 and also get a CD album that will be sent early May. One of the advantages of the “Newspaper Album” is can be played on almost all music player application. As for the “Digital Only” can only be downloaded in file format. Mp3 with 320k bit rate, priced at 6 pounds.

The King of Limbs taken from a nickname of a large oak tree located in Wiltshire’s Savernake Forest around 1000 years old. This forest is just 3 miles from Tottenham house where Radiohead recorded their album “In Rainbows” in 2007.
